An Interactive workshop exploring ways to stay safe online for foundation and key stages 1+2

Using fary tales and art activities.

Workshop aim:

  • Keeping safe
  • To raise awareness of the danger of using your personal information online
  • To rein force "Stranger Danger"
  • For children to understand the importanceof being polite online
  • For children to know what to do if they feel in danger

This workshop has been developed with references to the National Curriculm

How about teaching history, maths, literacy or science in an innovative and exciting way through an interactive class visit from one of our "in role" characters? Meet Jack, the air raid warden or Sylvia from 1940, who describe life in Britain during World War 2, Viking settler Rigsson or Ingrid, or Tudor Thomas. Help solve maths based problems with time traveller Zoena or Simeon to save the Universe, or Granny Cook on a vital mission to feed the space ship crew! Receive training from the General of the Bacterial Boot Camp or Agent Penni Cillin, in all aspects of human defences, invasion techniques and the development of superweapon: Superbug! Meet Macbeth, Romeo or Juliet, and characters from novels and world stories! We can cater to individual needs, study areas and ages.

How do you solve a problem like....

A maths show aimed at Years 3 and 4

An interactive show with songs and movement.

This one-woman show has been developed with references to the National Curriculum.

The story follows Granny Cook and her cat Jess, who are in a hurry to get the tea on the table before the hungry space crew come home from a hard days work on the lunar hub. The problem is Granny Cook's cupboards are bare! She will have to fly her spaceship back to Earth and do some shopping. Will she be ready in time for tea?

Running time is approximately 1 hour and the show can be performed for up to 30 children and their parents / carers.
